Security Operatives Arrest Fake Boko Haram

The Defence Headquarters has announced the arrest of a man who specializes in creating panic by sending out text messages threatening attack by Boko Haram terrorists.

The suspect, Ugwu Lawrence (pictured) who was tracked by security operatives after dispatching text messages of impending bombings of some hotels in Abuja, confessed that he employed the gimmick because the management of one of the organisation failed to offer him employment.

The suspect further confessed that his motive was a ploy to instil fear in the mind of the management’s chairman, and pleaded that he is actually not a terrorist. The suspect is still undergoing further interrogation preparatory to prosecution.

Dad Rapes And Impregnates 16-Year Old Daughter

In what may sound like a scene in a badly scripted movie, a 45 year old man, Ahmed Akintola, in Ibadan, Oyo State, has been arrested for raping and impregnating his daughter who is 16 years old and in secondary school.

The randy dad who, according to reports, has been flexing his muscles on his young daughter who is now four months pregnant, has been sent to prison to the Agodi prison for the offence.

While begging in court for forgiveness, Akintola blamed the devil for his actions and asked his daughter to forgive him.

The girl told the court that her father who lives with his family in a one room apartment in the town, used to come down from the bed every night to force himself on her and warned her never to tell her mother or he would kill her.

The evil deed was only brought to the fore when the girl got pregnant and was forced to tell who was responsible for her pregnancy. That was when she revealed that her blood father was the one who put her in the family way.

Interpol Hands Over Alleged Mastermind Of Nyanya Explosion

The mastermind of the April 14th Nyanya bomb blast, Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche, who fled to Sudan after the bombing, has been arrested and handed over to Nigerian Security officials by INTERPOL.

29 year old Sadiq, believed to have been radicalized while studying at the South Wales University in Sudan, was arrested on May 14th and was only extradited today to Nigeria.

President Jonathan Cancels Meeting With Parents Of Missing Chibok Girls

According to a report by BBC, President Jonathan has cancelled his proposed meeting with parents of the missing chibok girls after accusing #BringBackOurGirls campaigners of playing politics.

Jonathan had been due to meet with the parents of the victims today but he canceled it last minute, saying the #BringBackOurGirls group should be ashamed of manipulating "the victims of terrorism"

Unfortunately, political forces within the Nigerian chapter of Bring Back Our Girls have decided to take this opportunity to play politics with the situation and the grief of the parents and the girls. They should be ashamed of their actions. Those who would manipulate the victims of terrorism for their own benefit are engaging in a similar kind of evil: Psychological terrorism," President Jonathan said in a statement.

Rapper Andre Johnson Is Now Penisless

Here's an update on rapper Andre Johnson who made headlines this past April when he cut off his own penis and jumped off a building. He survived that mess but he's now penisless!

Yesterday Andre spoke to E! News exclusively about why he cut off his penis...and how he's living life without it.

Horrific Emerge 25 Women Who Were Slaughtered In Baghdad After Being Branded Prostitutes

Horrific pictures have emerged showing the bodies of some of the 25 women murdered in a raid on a Baghdad brothel.

Gunmen wearing camouflage and carrying weapons fitted with silencers reportedly burst into two apartments in they city's Zayouna district on Saturday evening before massacring everyone inside.

Police arrived at the building to find blood streaming down the stairs. Inside they discovered the bodies of dozens of women scattered around two apartments. Continue...Most of the victims appear to have been killed by gunshost wounds to the head. In one image the bodies of five women are seen slumped together on the floor of bathroom. In another the bodies of eight women are seen lying in a pool of blood in what appears to be a living room.

 MailOnline has decided not to publish these images.A message scrawled on a wall inside one of the apartments read: 'This is the fate of any prostitution.'While no group has yet claimed responsibility for the murders, locals believe the killings were carried out by Shiite militants opposed to prostitution.

A police officer speaking on condition of anonymity said: 'When we walked up the stairs, we saw a couple of women's bodies and blood streaming down the stairs. We entered a flat and found bodies everywhere, some lying on the sofa, some on the ground, and one woman who apparently had tried to hide in a cupboard in the kitchen shot to death there.'The attacks happened late on Saturday night at an apartment block in , a mixed Sunni and Shiite district of Baghdad.

Police believe men using silenced weapons carried out the executions, before scrawling 'this is the fate of any prostitution' on one of the doors.Officers have now cordoned off the street, with residents reporting that the sole access point to the building has been blocked off.Shiite militias have become more active on the streets of Baghdad since Sunni militants led by jihadist fighters took over large swathes of eastern and northern Iraq a month ago.

Man Found With Explosives At Awo Hall In OAU....

According to eyewitnesses, the man pictured above identified as Rasaki Adebayo was on Wednesday July 9th caught inside the Awo Hall of the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife in Osun state, trying to set up explosives.

He was caught with what looked like petrol mixed with chemical. The students said he was trying to blow up a block in the hall. The man was immediately arrested and is still in police custody. God help us all....

Malala Yousafzai Flies To Nigeria To Campaign For The Abducted Chibok Girls By Boko Haram...

Malala Yousafzai, a very young lady who is a Pakistani girls' education activist, will seek a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan.

Malala Yousafzai, the girls' education activist who was shot by the Taliban, is on her way to Nigeria to campaign on behalf of the schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram.Ms Yousafzai, 17 who was an early backer of the #BringBackOurGirls social media campaign, is due in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, on Sunday.

 As well as meeting relatives of the kidnapped girls, she is expected to seek an audience with President Goodluck Jonathan.Her visit to Nigeria takes place almost three months to the day since the abduction of the girls, who were taken by Boko Haram militants from a boarding school in Chibok, in north-east Borno State, on April 14.The presence of such a high-profile women's rights campaigner will add to the pressure on the Nigerian government, which was accused in the early days of the kidnapping of not doing enough to resolve it.

In recent weeks there has been claims that the trail has effectively gone cold in the hunt for the girls, despite help from Britain, America and France.Officials believe the hostages have been split up into different groups and hidden in the vast Sambisa forest region, an area roughly twice the size of Belgium.

Some may also have been taken over the border into neighbouring Cameroon and Chad. Around 223 girls are believed to be missing in total.It was in early May that Ms Yousafzai first joined the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, which successfully focused international attention on the girls' plight.

She posed with a picture on her Twitter feed and described the girls as "sisters".Ms Yousafzai was shot by the Taliban as she boarded her school bus in the valley of Swat, northwest Pakistan after she spoke publicly about girls' rights to education.She was transferred to Britain for hospital treatment, and currently lives in the West Midlands along with her family.
