NIGER DELTA AVENGERS BLOW UP 5 OIL PIPELINES AGAIN

5 oil pipelines have again been blown up in the Niger Delta region which Niger Delta Avengers has claimed responsibility for it.

According to the NDA's Twitter page, the attacks were carried out between late Friday, Saturday and the early hours of Sunday. The affected oil pipelines were those belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Chevron Oil and the Nigeria Petroleum Development Corporation major crude trunk line close to Batan flow station in Delta State.

Also, the militants claimed that the NNPC crude oil trunk line blown up was the one that supplies the Warri Refinery and Petrochemical Company. See tweet below

Niger Delta Avengers have been blowing up oil installations in a bid to compel Nigerian Government to address their demands which include self-determination.

Determined to pave a way for dialogue, the Federal Government recently directed withdrawal of military personnel from the Niger Delta region.
