A street hawker lost his life today while being chased by Kick Against Indiscipline officials along Ikorodu road in Maryland today.
According to eyewitnesses, the KAI officials making an attempt to enforce the law, chased a man hawking along Maryland bridge. While trying to avoid them, he ran into a BRT bus and knocked to the ground, he died instantly.

Angry hawkers and area boys armed with sticks & stones immediately descended to destroy all BRT buses in the area and riot in protest. see graphic pics below
