Mark Okoye II, 30, has been sworn in by the Anambra State governor. Flanked by his wife, he was inaugurated yesterday as the Honourable Commissioner for Economic Planning, Budget and Development Partners. The governor had reportedly wanted to make him a commissioner years ago, but there was an age limit because Mark was yet to clock 30.
He studied Finance at George Washington University and was a former Associate at Afrinvest West Africa. He was also a former Executive Director, Anambra State Investment Promotion & Protection Agency and also the Special Adviser to the Governor on Economic Planning and Budget.
