An eyewitness explained that Fumilayo was whisked away while driving an unregistered Lexus ES 330 ash colour salon car.
She said, "The victim had parked at Titilola area of Old garage in Osogbo around 7pm to buy something at a shop and had sent her younger sister, who was with her to help her get the item when she was whisked away.
"While she was waiting for her sister, the hoodlums double-crossed her vehicle and tried to remove her from the car but she tried to resist. she even engaged the hoodlums in altercation and likely slapped one of them."
The source added that in the abductors "smashed the rear wind screen of her vehicle in anger and dragged her into their red coloured vehicle and drove her away."
Another eyewitness, described that the kidnappers wore red shirts and numbered about five.
"I suspect that the abductors are cultists because if their dressing and how they operated," he said.
When contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs. Folasade Odoro (DSP) confirmed the incident, saying security officials are adopting strategies to ensure that the victim is rescued unhurt.
